These are photographs which I have taken on my roadtrips through the American West. They are intended to capture a dissapearing piece of America, which is the sense of hospitality promised to the road's weary travelers, whether it be in the form of a meal, a drink, or a place to lay one's head for the night. The shapes and colors of these signs, a beacon, to contrast from the endless miles of road, are beautiful to me. These treasures are dissapearing, and are not being replaced. My hope is to capture them before they are only a memory.
