Is sales tax included?

Sales tax is only charged to those ordering and shipping within the state of California.  Any applicable sales tax will be viewable prior to confirming and placing your order.

How is the art shipped?

Art Capitol’s high quality prints are packed with the utmost care by hand, depending on the size, in either strong reinforced mailer tubes or flat boxes.  Our packing materials are specifically made for shipping prints. (Orders with multiple prints will be shipped individually to ensure they arrive in good condition.)

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can track the progress of your shipment online.  All orders are shipped within 48 hours of placement.

All our prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity, as well as information about the artwork, artist, and care instructions.

What are the Shipping and Handling (S&H) costs?

We use flat shipping rates in the U.S. only to keep costs affordable for everyone.  For international shipping, please review our USPS shipping calculator for rates and countries we ship to.

Are there other shipping options available?  Expedited?  2 Day?

Within the U.S. we offer FedEx 2nd Day and Overnight for additional charges that can be calculated at checkout based on your zip code and the size/weight of your order.

When can I expect to receive my art?

Our fine art prints are printed on a per order basis, and subjected to strict quality control. The prints generally take 1-5 business days to produce and are individually created on-demand to meet the highest standards of exhibition-quality reproduction.

You will receive an email with shipping confirmation and tracking information to follow its delivery progress.  If you haven't received your order after a reasonable period of time, please email service@artcapitol.com so we can work together to resolve the problem.

International orders arrival times generally vary country by country, but ship within the same time frame as domestic orders.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, your shipping confirmation email will include a tracking number so you can track your shipment directly online.

Why am I charged more for shipping than what is stated on the package?

The cost shown on the package is the cost for the postage alone.  Our charges also include shipping AND handling.  These costs include packing materials as well as fees we're charged for mail pick-ups, and more.

Is my art insured?

ArtCapitol guarantees your complete satisfaction and will give an exchange, replacement or refund in the event that the package is lost, damaged or flawed on arrival.  If this occurs, please contact us at service@artcapitol.com and we will resolve your claim as quickly as possible.
