About the Work
This image was made in Maine, on a hot, sultry day in August. I somehow was able to convince my model to climb into a stone cistern and curl up inside it. I consider it a self-portrait even though I am not the subject. I created this image to reflect my feelings of vulnerability at the time.
Printed with Epson K3 Ultrachrome archival pigment inks on to Hahnemuhle Bamboo FineArt Matte paper, and mounted on 1/8" aluminum, liquid laminated on face.
